Additional information

The stoneware of Christian Bitz is made from clay that has been fired at 1250°C. At this temperature the crystals melt together resulting in an incredibly strong and durable ceramic product that retains an extremely pleasing aesthetic. The reactive glazing on the stoneware creates distinct details so that every piece has a unique look. Thus no two pieces are the same.

Food can be prepared on the plates and in the bowls and and the stoneware can be used in the oven (maximum temperature 250°c) as well as and in the microwave. Stone ware is also dishwasher safe.
